About Us

Buzz Balldrin is a 3 piece band residing from Cleveland, Ohio that curates a blend of heavy metal with hints of punk; providing a look at the depth of the human mind and the expansiveness of the universe.

Formed in 2018, Buzz Balldrin started forging their journey into the scene, playing shows at popular local venues such as Iggys, Coda, Mahalls, Grog Shop and The Cove, winning the crowd over with heavy riffs and epic guitar solos.

With 4 originals under their belt, Buzz Balldrin partnered with long-time friends Chris Dicola and Jake Pastor of Signal Flow Studios to record their first self titled EP, released in early 2020 and was ready to hit the ground running, until the Covid-19 pandemic shut down all shows for the unforseeable future.

But that didn’t slow them down. Buzz Balldrin continued writing and released a new single in March of 2021 titled “The Saboteur“, recorded by Jon Chips in Lakewood, Ohio.

Immediately after the shutdown, Buzz Balldrin continued right where they left off, playing a plethora of shows and getting to record their newest songs.

In spring of 2023, Buzz Balldrin once again teamed up with Signal Flow Studios and released a 7 track EP “Magnificent Desolation“. This release goes above and beyond and takes the listener on a roller-coaster of a journey and has been nominated for best local album in the Cleveland Scene magazine best of 2023 Awards. They have also been nominated for best local band in the same contest.
